My Eight Favorite Investment Bloggers
Written by David Fabian, July 29th, 2015
I’m heading out of town for a few days to relax with the family and take in the sights of sunny San Diego. Before I go, I wanted to leave you with a few thoughts on my favorite independent bloggers that are must follows. I highly recommend that you take a hard look at their content, as it will help you immensely with your investment endeavors and overall sanity.
Josh Brown – The Reformed Broker
Josh is smart, funny, and provides one of the best perspectives on life and the market that you can find out there. He has a wealth of information that he shares with his readers and I can’t recommend his blog enough. Every one of his posts are must reads.
Michael Batnick – The Irrelevant Investor
Michael works with Josh Brown and it’s easy to see why. They both have a witty take on the market combined with sound portfolio management advice. Michael provides a unique perspective on a wide range of investment topics through his blog and always makes me laugh on Twitter as well.
Ben Carlson – A Wealth Of Common Sense
Ben is an excellent writer and advocate of keeping things simple in your portfolio. He continually cranks out very practical advice on relevant topics that everyone can relate to. He also has a new book out as well that is on my summer reading list. Check him out.
Tadas Viskanta – Abnormal Returns
Tadas curates some of the best content from around the financial blogosphere into one of the most relevant daily reads out there. He focuses on a broad range of topics that bridge the gap between Wall Street and Main Street. I can’t recommend his blog enough.
Gary Gordon – ETF Expert
I have a lot of respect for Gary, who I have a long personal and professional history with. He is a Certified Financial Planner and ETF aficionado that is dedicated to espousing sound portfolio management advice. If you love ETFs, Gary is a must follow.
Andy Nyquist – See It Market
Andy has created an excellent blog of original content submitted by some of the strongest traders and professional investors I follow. Whether you are just getting started with investing or looking for fresh trading ideas, there is something for everyone at Seeitmarket.com
Brian Lund – The Lund Loop
Brian is a sharp guy and standout writer. I love his take on the market as well as the stories he shares about his life experiences. He is also a beer connoisseur, what’s not to love about that? Sign up for his weekly email – The Lund Loop. It’s free and worth every penny. Here is a recent sample.
Charles Sizemore – Sizemore Insights
Charles is a strong financial writer, CFA, and all around good guy. He does a solid job breaking down some of the most relevant stocks and ETFs in the market today, as well as pointing out global markets that deserve more of your attention. Expand your horizons by checking out his blog.
The Bottom Line
This is by no means a complete list and I intend on expanding it in the future. Drop me an email if you have other blogs or professional investors that you follow. I’d love to hear your thoughts and bolster my own reading list as well.
It’s been a crazy summer out there. Keep calm and carry on.
